Anna’s solo J. H. Roman keyboard sonatas vol. 2 (BIS) is out

Finally, vol. 2 of Swedish composer Johan Helmich Roman’s keyboard sonatas is out! Again, Anna interprets these works on both the harpsichord and the clavichord. The CD is published by the prestigious Swedish label BIS. This recording is an attempt of presenting these works in a completely new light and to stress how when the Swedish melancholy meets the theatrical temperament of the Italian baroque music the result is extremely charming! And then, there is that final touch that is simply “Roman”.
